Merry Christmas

CHRISTMAS MORNING

This tree is a story all its own... It had ornaments and bows on it when it was first put up. After both kids had to be bandaged from playing with the "glass" ornaments and breaking a few of them, the ornaments were boxed up and put away... So, Grant got out the candy canes and hung them on the tree... what harm could they do??? Well, the kids managed to knock the tree over and Gunnar LOVED candycanes... always sticky from head to toe. So, off came the candy canes. Until Christmas morning, Grant put the candy canes back on the tree, but they were out of the kids reach within the first hour!!

What a wonderful Christmas it was this year for our little family!

CHRISTMAS JAMMIES
Tinkerbell

Cars (a little too big... Gunnar is standing on the footy's)

Kaedynce received all kinds of dress up stuff, makeup and a vanity to go with it. She went through her makeup within the week... She hasn't quite learned the concept that chapstick is meant for lips only, and nail polish for the nails, not the eye lashes.... What an eventful week it was! Mom only had to scrub her face, legs, arms, 2 outfits, a sofa chair, and her baby brother.

So beautiful!

Gunnar received tools of every kind! Santa had realized his love for tools after a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Fastabend's a short time ago... He was give a couple little plastic screw drivers, and seldom, if ever puts them down. Yes, he has even slept with them a few nights. Not sure if this tool fixation is a good thing... He is our distructive child!! He has broken a cell phone, a window frame, curtains, and a floor lamp all before his first birthday.

Grant received ammo, a gun cleaning kit and a watch. The watch is an automatics style and needs no battery.

Tiffany received the Gypsy. It is an attatchment that goes to the Cricut Expression. She hasn't played with it too much, but is quite excited to see all that it can do!

As a family we received the neatest hat scarfs from Grandma and Grandpa Pitcher. They are so soft, nice and warm. We all have appreciated them so far... The kids got duplos from Aunt Leisha and Uncle Arn's family. They have occupied us for many hours!

That is just a bit of the great stuff that Santa brought to us this year.

Princess shoes. Kaedynce received 5 pairs... Notice Cinderella shoes on her feet, Belle on her hands, Sleeping Beauty in Gunnar's hand, and the other somewhere between the living room and her bedroom... By the end of the night, both kids were clapping with the shoes. Kaedynce: we had to take the shoes off her feet for bed.
She is our little PRINCESS...

What a wonderful and quiet day it was! Gunnar was the first to wake up, we waited till we couldn't waite any longer and woke up Kaedynce. We hurried and opened all of Gunnar's gifts then put him down for a nap while we finished our Christmas gifts and stockings. After all the presents were opened we played, ate candy, and assembled presents for the remainder of the day.

His favorite thing to chew on that morning... Gunnar loved his stocking, and always had a candycane in each hand.

On an impressive note: Tiffany had the tree down before the New Year!!! Yep, took it down today! Had to have it down before Kaedynce's birthday tomorrow...
